The VHS Graz belongs to the largest institutions of adult education in Styria. About 5000 people attend our language courses every year. In all our language courses you can expect high quality, communicative teaching as well as modern methods and materials especially designed for adult learners. The complete range of language courses has been divided into reference levels based on the Common European Framework (CEFR) by the Council of Europe.

The Austrian Adult Education Centres have been the first institution of adult education in Austria to introduce a Language Portfolio especially developed for adult learners and accredited by the Council of Europe. We also offer courses preparing for the TELC Certificate and ÖSD Diploma.
